“It’s never too late to become who you want to be. I hope you live a life that you’re proud of, and if you find that you’re not, I hope you have the strength to start over.”
– F. Scott Fitzgerald
In 2017, I decided I was going to take back to blogging. I felt like I had something to share but wasn’t sure what that something was supposed to be. So, I started this blog and started writing, it was a new beginning.
Over the years, I have written on many topics with thousands of posts. I self-published four books, a few courses, countless free resources, etc.
Then, this year hit, and I realized that there were two things I needed to be doing.
An Unexpected New Beginning
It started in 2021, but it has come to a landing place this year. Last year, I tried to figure out where my writing was going. I thought I had a good idea, but God stepped in to tell me otherwise. This intervention changed everything.
I started writing devotionals to self-publish. I published two of them in 2021. And they have done very well. So, I have begun to focus on my faith more with a Medium publication called Transformed Faith. This has been free and difficult.
Secondly, I realized that I love helping people. This realization has always been in my mind, but I realized that I can help people now through writing. I want to help more writers enjoy writing and fulfill their dreams.
So, a new beginning has begun.
J.R. Heimbigner, Self-Publishing Made Easy
So, I did the unthinkable. I deleted all the random content on my blog. I am starting over. It is a new beginning. And I am excited about this next chapter.
What you will find on my blog is information for writers and authors. I hope to share my experience with new writers and new self-publishing authors. This will consist of what I am working on, how self-publishing comes together, and how to build an audience.
And I am excited about it.
