I’ve decided to come back to my blog and start blogging again.
Okay. Okay. Okay. I have said this before. But this time, I think it is going to stick.
I mean it this time.
But you might ask yourself, “Why are you returning to your blog? Isn’t blogging dead?”
Well, you know what? I don’t know if it is dead. However, I can tell you something about it. It isn’t controlled by other people. It’s 100% in my hands. That being the case, I don’t have to placate to rules, restrictions, terms, agreements, etc.
On my blog, I’m in control of blogging.
I can write a 100-word post, a 10,000-word post, or put pictures up without worrying about someone taking it down or telling me it violates this or that. I’m in control. And I like that. I’ve missed that.
Don’t get me wrong. It’s important to have some regulations for blogging. But it isn’t essential.
So, from now on, I will write a lot more here. Not as much on Medium, or Substack, or anywhere else for that matter. I will interact and create in those spaces, but not like on my blog.
If you have checked out this article, welcome.
Check out my About page, book page, and Resources page. They will be getting overhauls over the next few weeks, but they still have great information for you today.

Are there other books to read? Sure are. I have two short lists of them in my Writer’s Starter Pack on Gumroad (It’s free, you should check it out). The only other book I want to highlight is my own.
It’s called Transform Your Medium Stories.
